The alarm about the accident came at 15:50 on Thursday afternoon. One person had driven into a tree on Särvfjället near Nysätern north of Hede in Härjedalen.
Rescue services and ambulance helicopters were called out to the scene.
The boy was loaded in the helicopter and taken to Östersund Hospital for care.
At 19 o’clock, the police came with a note that the scooter is a boy under 15 years. They also write in the note that a notification of illegal driving is established as the boy lacks a driver’s license for the scooter.
The injury situation for the boy is unclear.
