At the beginning of February, RTV Utrecht visited Mrs. Bloemen. After she moved from her home on the Croeselaan to Zorghuis Vecht and IJssel in Utrecht, she was very lonely. When she still lived independently, a volunteer regularly visited her. They drank a cup of coffee and chat. She no longer had a family. “Everything has disappeared from me: friends, acquaintances you name it. I have no one anymore,” she said.
