Michelle Trachtenberg was found dead in his apartment in New York by her mother during Wednesday morning local time, reports American media.
Police sources state for ABC News that the actor recently underwent a liver transplant and had experienced complications. The police are investigating no crime in connection with the death.
An autopsy will be made by forensic doctors to determine the cause of death.
Began acting as a child
Michelle Trachtenberg began her acting career as a child in Nickelodeon productions such as “The Adventures of Pete & Pete” and “Harriet-the little cunning spy”.
Among other things, she was known for her role as Dawn Summers in “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”, and for the role of Georgina Sparks in the TV series “Gossip Girl”, between 2008 and 2012.
