Last week, Raducanu broke down in the WTA 1,000 tournament in Dubai after a stalker came close to the stand. He had followed Raducanu in the previous tournaments in Singapore and Abu Dhabi.
Before the tournament in Indian Wells, California, which starts this weekend, the organizer has increased the safety of Raducanu to an extremely high level. The security work will be led by WTA’s Deputy Security Manager Bob Campbell, who has been Secret Service Agent for 20 years and led the security work during President Bill Clinton’s period of office, writes Sky Sports.
“Come physically close to her”
Initially, Raducanu did not perceive anything strange in Stalker’s behavior.

Raducanu has taken legal action against the man in the United Arab Emirates.
WTA threw the man out of the arena in Dubai and has so far shut him off from all events during the time an investigation is ongoing.
