Växjö Municipality writes on its website that the police received tips on a serious threat to the school, reports P4 Kronoberg.
– We look at all kinds of threats seriously and take it safe before the uncertain and choose to cancel all teaching on Wednesday, says Anders ElingforsHead of Administration for Education Administration Växjö Municipality, to SVT Småland.

The police will be in place
The municipality also writes that the police will be in place around the school during the day, and also at other schools.
– The police may be in place as a security -creating measure, says Lina Fribergcommunicator at the police command center.
She points out that it was the school that made the decision to cancel the teaching.
