(Finance) – Kiev agreed with Washington the terms on the agreement on minerals and is “ready to sign the agreement”. This is what the Financial Times reports, citing sources close to negotiations.
American President Donald Trump – confirmed the spokesman for the White House Karoline Leavitt – “expects Zelensky to sign” the agreement on critical minerals, which “is essential” to “recover the money of American taxpayers who financed the national defense of the ‘Ukraine”.
In the meantime, French president Emmanuel Macron, returning from Washington, had an interview with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. “We are determined to work for a strong and lasting peace in Ukraine,” he said on X.
