Almost exactly ten years after the start of the first season of Marvel’s Daredevil at Netflix, Charlie Cox reports back to Disney+ * as a combative blind lawyer and masked avenger to get back to Kingpin Wilson Fisk (Vincent d’Unofrio) in New York. Now the first reactions to the return of Daredevil: Born Again are there.
The first people were allowed to see Daredevil: Born Again and are out of the house
Daredevil is one of the most popular superhero series, but after three seasons on Netflix it was over. A few years ago, Netflix ‘Defenders series universe switched to Disney+ and a return of lawyer Matt Murdcock was announced. The first brutal trailer a few weeks ago promised that the hero in the red suit for reunion had not been washed up and now the first critics were allowed to see the start inside and have a lot of positive things to say.

Holy Hell’s Kitchen! Daredevil: Born Again begins with a long, shattering sequence that screams: ‘This is just as brutal as with Netflix!’ This is followed by a multi-layered story about police officers, self-judiciary and guilt in the first two episodes. […] A big start!
Erik Davis from Fandango also Preist the initial scene as “Fight without cuts, with a wild end, that of the series one unforgettable start gives”. Liam Crowley from Screen Rant goes even further:

Daredevil: Born Again has the Best first episode of all MCU series So far and it’s not even a tight race. I was sitting on my seating and it was always a Sharp breath in the hall listen. Charlie [Cox] and Vincent [D’Onofrio] Are just as great as before. And [das Regie-Duo] Benson and Moorhead brings the necessary spice.

Daredevil: Born Again is a worthy successor! The series nail exactly what worked so well in the original, while the characters are moved forward in a shocking way. The grounded tone and cutting are there and the scripts are as great as before. The action is even bigger and sharp. I am traumatized, overjoyed and loved it!
If you also wonder how much of the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) is in the new Daredevil, POC Culture should borrow your ear:

The perfect mix of old and new. The series combines the courage of the original with the flair of the MCU. Incredible bone -breaking action Mixed with the focus on character development, Daredevil make something special.
Only “Some special effects as a weak point” are shown by Brandon Davis (phase hero) as a small smear. But on the whole, the critics agree: Inside that the new Daredevil is still the old one: “Knallhart, ruthless and irreconcilable bloody”as Gagliardi from Movie Podcast calls it, while Rachel Leishman (Mary Sue) simply loves her “Teufel back “.
