Bandy: Västerås forced a fifth quarterfinals

– We needed a couple of levels, but there is more to take off. We would not release this in our castle. Here we have a good gameplan, says Västerås hattricks shooter Christoffer Fagerström to Bandypuls.

The jerk came in the middle of the first half. Robin Andersson came alone against four static -set Sirius defenders and just stepped right through and put 2-1.

1.5 minutes later Sirius had a corner and was in search of a receipt. Instead, VSK brought the ball in a quick change and Oscar Gröhn lifted 3-1. Then it just rolled on.

Is set at its tip on Wednesday

The team now meets in a crucial fifth quarterfinals at Student’s IP in Uppsala on Wednesday.

– It will be required that we play with the same intensity we have had in the last two home games and that we follow our match plan, says Sirius Samuel Heeger.

So far, home plan has been absolutely crucial. It chooses VSK to ignore.

– Finally it is at its forefront and it is win or disappear and I love those matches, says Christoffer Fagerström.
