Creating a nicer world was the goal when Pär Olsson created his platform for good deeds. Now Pär hopes that the site will continue to grow.
“You can do good deeds all over the world,” he says after five.
It all started when Pär’s friend needed help with an idea for a website he would code. He pondered and returned with a proposal.
– How about making the world a better place?
That said, the site for good deeds was created and the hearts are now appearing on a map around the world.
“Comfort someone or give a compliment”
When you enter the site, you are asked to register your place and your good deed. Among other things, it can be about picking up garbage from the street and throwing it in a trash can, telling something nice to someone or giving praise. Deeds that everyone can do, regardless of finances.
– It may be to comfort someone or give a compliment, says Pär’s daughter Alice in after five.
She continues:
– I’ve done quite a few good deeds. For example, taking up garbage and inviting someone to coffee.
Want the site to continue to grow
The site has only been active for about three weeks but it plants slowly. Pär says that he has received a positive response and hopes that it continues to grow larger.
– That’s what I hope, that it will spread and you should be able to see that there are good things going on in our society and in the world, he concludes.
