On Monday morning, a dead person was found outdoors in Nyköping.
Relatives have been notified.
“There is no indication of any concrete suspicions of crime, but given that there are unclear circumstances, we have started a preliminary investigation,” said Olle Älveroth, press spokesman for the police.
– Initially, it is to be regarded as an accident or case of illness, but there are circumstances around the death that make us decide to block off and do some other investigative technical measures to rule out that crime is committed, says Olle Älveroth.
The incident is being investigated as murder.
– We will knock a door in the area to see if residents in the area have seen or heard something that has to do with the death.
