Biathlon Mass Start Men Intouchable Norwegians sign a magnificent hat

Norway ends these world biathlon world championships with a hat -trick on the Mass Start. Stroemsheim is ahead of Laegreid and J.Boe who takes bronze for his last on Worlds.

5:10 pm – Norway signs a fabulous hat -trick, the summary of the race

The Mass Start Men, which closed these World Biathlon 2025 world championships, saw the Norwegians sign a resounding triple. Endre Stroemsheim, impeccable behind the rifle with a single fault on the shot, takes its first title of world champion in individual. He is ahead of Sturla Laegreid who adjusted J.Boe during the final sprint. The Norwegian legend, with 23 medals in the world championships, bows out in competition with bronze, who announced to end his career after the season.

On the side of the Blues, no medal this time, the fault of too many errors on the shot. With a 17/20, Eric Perrot signs a 7th place. Emilien Jacquelin, a time at the top of the race in the company of Martin Ponsiluoma, cracked on the first shot standing with two fatal errors to finish 11th. Same music for Fabien Claude who made three faults on the first standing, 15th. While he was making superb world championships, Quentin Fillon-Maillet went completely through with a 14/20 shooting and a 19th position. A global performance of the Blues disappointing on this race, which should not erase absolutely sparkling Worlds for the French clan.

Behind the head duo, it is Samuelsson who takes matters into his 3rd position at 19 seconds. The Swedish wasted time on Jacquelin-Ponsiluoma, however.

16:23 – Jacquelin and Ponsiluoma get along

At the top of the race, the duo, among the fastest skiers on the circuit is well. Result, Claude, who came out at 3 seconds, is now at 13 seconds. Further on, J.Boe does not take anything on skis! He always points to more than 20 seconds.

16:22 – Jacquelin turns in mind!

What a supersonic shot from the tricolor who takes control of this race! He comes out in the company of Ponsiluoma, interspersed in front of Claude. J.Boe commits a new fault and comes out at 20 seconds with Perrot almost in his skis.

16:20 – Approaching the second bed …

Biathletes enter the stadium to make the second lying shot of this Mass Start. The race is always grouped with 21 athletes who will present themselves at the same time in front of the targets.

The Frenchman operates a beautiful ascent by pointing to second position at kilometer 4.7. He says Hartweg still in the lead, just in front of Giacomel who had also made an error on the shot.
