Anders Byström is uploading and looking back on the weekend in Falun

How is Sweden in the World Cup? This is what national team manager Anders Byström answers in an interview with News24which begins by commenting on the World Cup weekend in Falun.

– A good weekend for us. We have received many good answers for the World Cup, especially from Linn Svahn and Ebba Andersson.

He also chose to comment on the national riders, who got the chance in Falun.

– The national riders who are allowed to compete here are very important to us. Many people get the chance, and it is a tough reality for many to see where the bar is and how fast it goes, he said and continued:

– It was fun today that Lisa Eriksson set a personally record with 28th. For us, such things are important.

News24 asked Byström about Jens Burman and Moa Ilar, both of whom will run the World Cup but who had major problems in Falun.

– I’m not worried about that. They have known for a while that they are going to the World Cup and they have been in tough training and competed some too. There the shape should be topped in one and a half to two weeks.

He also came into an incident that touched Burman where he lost his temper as he passed the mixed zone.

– He wants so much and he has that mood when things go bad, you have to have respect for that. He wants much more than that and may want another answer for the World Cup. He has a championship routine and he will be in shape there and that is the important thing.

So it goes for Sweden in the World Cup

Finally, he came up with how he thinks it goes for Sweden in the World Cup.

– Norway is big favorites in everything, we turn out the disadvantage. We have a very good location now and have received many good answers. We have riders who have been in good shape earlier in the season who have not competed now in Jonna Sundling, Frida Karlsson and William Poromaa. We go there with a really strong team, perhaps the best ever. It is positive.
