10.53 am: Agents injured in Houten
Two agents were injured in Houten tonight when arrested a 17-year-old driver. The girl from Culemborg drove in a car without a driver’s license. According to the police, she was under the influence of alcohol and drugs. At the court she rode against parked vehicles and the police car. The two agents were injured. Eventually they managed to keep the girl.
08.19: accident Beneluxlaan
A serious accident happened on Saturday evening around 11.45 pm on the cycle path along the Beneluxlaan in the Kanaleneiland district of Utrecht. According to a press photographer, a woman on a fatbike was rushed to the hospital. It is unclear whether another vehicle has been involved. The police are investigating the circumstances.
7.45 am: car over
In the night from Saturday to Sunday, a one -sided accident occurred in Veenendaal. Around 00:30 a motorist lost control of the wheel on the Rondweg-Oost. The car hit the roundabout at Wageningselaan and flew over. According to a photographer, four passengers were able to leave the car independently.
9.05 pm: Bicycle on fire at bicycle shed Utrecht Central
Tonight a bicycle was on fire at the bicycle shed at Utrecht Central Station. That happened around 9 p.m. The fire brigade went to the fire with several cars, but that turned out not to be necessary. The fire was quickly under control.
It is not known how the fire could have arisen.
8.25 pm: Stabinbesin Utrechtse Binnenstad
A stab incident took place tonight on the Rijnkade in the city center of Utrecht. The victim was injured to the hospital. The police are looking for two suspects.
6.40 pm: Brand in Veenendaal, 2 residents to hospital
At the Nachtzwaluw in Veenendaal, a fire raged in a house for a short time this afternoon. The fire started around 5.30 pm n the stove in the kitchen and could be extinguished quickly.
2.15 pm: Long file on A27 near Maartensdijk by accident
Due to an accident at Maartensdijk, a long traffic jam has emerged on the A27. Two lanes in the direction of Utrecht are closed and the delay behind the accident rises to 40 minutes.
UPDATE: The road is free again.
11 p.m.: Crashed car in Baarn without a driver
Two passers -by found a badly damaged car on the Amsterdamsestraatweg on Friday evening, at the parking lot opposite the Soestdijk Palace. Only the driver was without a trace.
To see the tracks it seems as if the car arrived from the Biltseweg and wanted to turn left towards Baarn. In the bend the driver seems to have lost control of the wheel, then hit a traffic sign and ended up on the roadside. The traces reveal that the driver has tried to drive away, but no longer succeeded.
Enforcers of the municipality of Baarn and the police were still looking for the driver in the Baarnse Bos, in vain. A recovery company has picked up the vehicle.
10.40 pm: Fire brigade prevents a fire from burning trailer to spread to cowshed in Benschop
Tonight, the fire brigade has extinguished a burning trailer at the village in Benschop. According to a spokesperson for the Utrecht Security Region (VRU), the fire threatened to skip a cowshed, but the fire brigade was there on time to prevent that.
