After Nearly a Decade in the role, the Executive Director of the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation is Retiring.

Jodi Maroney Served Nine Years in the position, and Almost Three Years as Director of Development Prior to Opening.
She helped “Develop the Organization’s Strong Governance Framework, Built Tremendous Recognition and Trust in the Community and Consistedly Raised the Funds Needed To Support Hospice End-Of-Life Care in Chatham-Kent,” Stated A Release Thursday.
This included Raising $ 5.8 million in the Capital Campaign, and more than $ 15 million to date to Enable the Facility to Care for more than 1.530 Families, as well as provides grief and bereavement support to more than 1.950 individuals at no cost to them.
“It has been a tremendous honour to be a part of the chatham-kent hospice and foundation over the years,” Maroney Said. “I have learned a lot of life lessons working at hospice and the biggest one is that life is precious, so I intend on spending more time with my family and friends as I make the most of each day.
