Split Fiction makes it easier for two players to share the same game with Cross-Play support and Friend’s Pass feature.
Split FictionEA and Hazelight Studios developed by a new -cooped player game will be released on March 6. Developers shared new details about the Cross-Play support of the game and Friend’s Pass feature. Thanks to these features, players will be able to play games with friends from different platforms or invite a friend who does not have a game and play the whole game together.
Friend’s Pass and Cross-Play Details
At Split Fiction, Friend’s Pass offers players the opportunity to share the game with friends. A person with a game can invite his friend by downloading Friend’s Pass. In this way, the invited friend can play the entire game without having the game. Friend’s Pass can be used on PC, PlayStation and Xbox platforms. However, players playing on different platforms need to create an EA account.
Friend’s Pass also includes a free trial version. If both players do not have the game, this trial version allows them to play the first episodes of the game. Progress is made during the trial, and when one of the players purchases the full version of the game, this progress can be continued.
Hazelight’s previous games, It Takes Two and A Way Out, had to play on the same platform. However, Split Fiction lifts this restriction and offers Cross-Play support that allows PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S players to play together. For Cross-Play, both players must have an EA account.
Developers, Cross-Play and Friend’s Pass features aim to make players more easily sharing the game and connect with more people. Split Fiction, which also supports Split-Screen, aims to offer an innovative-plated player experience for modern platforms.
Split Fiction will be released on March 6, 2025 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S. Hazelight Studios has also created an Discord server to play the game more easily, where players will be able to match.
