It was February 6 that the “Årmorden” premiered on Netflix.
The crime drama is based on Viveca Stens Book series of the same name and immediately managed to get enough viewing to get into the streaming service’s top list.

The “year murder” consists of six episodes and many who have now seen the series on Netflix are starting to wonder if they can expect a second season.
So what is it like? According to a movie, there are some potential obstacles that make the future of the series uncertain.

They highlight the fact that the “year murder” is produced by SF Studios. They own the exclusive rights to film Viveca Sten’s book series and initially sold the distribution rights to Viaplay.
For financial reasons, however, Viaplay was forced to sell several of the titles they bought. It was also when the “year murder” landed on Netflix.
“This means that Netflix now needs to find an arrangement together with SF Studios, which is difficult to say how simple it is. Should the series continue in co -production, or does the streaming giant want to make it exclusive? How does SF Studios stand in that case that? There are many question marks that must be straightened out before a continuation can become reality, “writes Axel Diedrichs on Movie top.
According to him, Netflix has never before taken over the distribution rights to a Swedish production and then produces its own subsequent seasons.
