Carl Bildt: “Wild in the White House”

Donald Trump’s play has received strong criticism from several directions. The former state and foreign minister Carl Bildt (M) is very worried, and thinks we have a “wild in the White House” that spreads Russian propaganda.

At the same time, the government has chosen a more cautious strategy and avoids open criticism of the United States. Foreign Minister Maria Malmer Stenergard (M) thinks that one should instead focus on what the United States does, not just what they say.

– I think you should keep ice in the stomach. They still have tough sanctions against Russia, it is important to continue harming their war economics, says Maria Malmer Stenergard.

Malmer Stenergard also believes that she does not share Bildt’s perception of a “Wild in the White House”.

– We have a democratically elected leader in the United States, just as we have in Ukraine. Now we have to strengthen cooperation in Europe, but also with the United States, she says.
