The risk that the asteroid YR4 will hit the earth in seven years has in NASA’s latest assessment decreased to 1.5 percent.
As late as Tuesday, the risk was 3.1 percent – the highest ever for such a large celestial body.
The change is explained In a blog post from NASA with the fact that the night sky is darker after a week with a full moon and that the asteroid has thus become easier to observe from telescopes.
On Tuesday, Nasa stated that a possible hit with the earth would take place along a risk corridor that includes Bogota in Colombia, Mumbai in India and Dhaka in Bangladesh.

The first Pharaogri grave since Tutankhamon’s mummy in 1922 has been found in Egypt.
According to the country’s archaeological authorities, Pharaoh Thutmosis II’s grave has been discovered near the city of Luxor and the ancient Egyptian central city Thebe. The excavation was made near the valley of the kings and the necropolis where many of the pharaohs got their last rest.
Thutmosis belonged to the 18th pharao dynasty and ruled about 3,500 years ago. He was related to Tutankhamon in a descent.

The information about a visit comes after the two meetings that Macron agreed with, primarily, European heads of state and government on developments in Ukraine and the European relationship with the United States.

The US defense budget will decrease by eight percent per year – for five years.
This is what Defense Minister Pete Hegseth has announced leaders and managers in Pentagon and within the US military, according to sources and documents such as Washington Post that took part in.
“President Trump’s message to the US Department of Defense: achieving peace through strength,” Hegseth writes in a document according to the newspaper.
He also states that there is no longer room in the defense budget for unnecessary expenses and “excessive bureaucracy”.
