The Rio Carnival was held again after the coronation break in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The night-time samba school festivals began on Friday as people traditionally danced in their feathered and shimmering outfits.
About 75,000 people are estimated to be attending the carnival on both days.
All dancers and participants must show proof of the coroner vaccinations taken.

The number of corona-related deaths in Brazil has now dropped from more than 3,000 deaths a day to about a hundred a year ago.
The Rio Carnival is expected to revitalize the country of tourist loss.
