The long-awaited Modern Warfare 2 announcement could come soon. The fact that the Twitter and Facebook accounts of Infinity Ward, the producer of the game, have been dark since Friday, excited COD lovers. It has been talked about for a long time that Modern Warfare 2, which will be the sequel to Modern Warfare, which was renewed in 2019, will be released in 2022.

Infinity Ward has changed the profile and cover photos of its social media accounts with pitch black images. However, when IGN illuminated the cover photo, it captured a frame reminiscent of the famous Call of Duty character Ghost.
Looking at the image, it can be said that part of the picture really resembles the famous SAS Operator of Modern Warfare and Warzone, Simon “Ghost” Riley. In its February announcement, Activision confirmed that the sequel to Modern Warfare 2019 will be released this year alongside Warzone.
