The Amazon MMORPG Lost Ark changes the rules three years after the release. Anyone who is paying to pull others through the dungeons will now be punished.
What kind of change of control is that? In Amazon’s MMORPG Lost Ark, many difficult dungeons and raids are waiting for the players. If you don’t have the right Gear, but still want to go through the dungeon, you could simply use one of the popular Carry services that dragged your customers through the dungeons without having to help.
However, the service was rarely free and in the MMORPG a market was created to boost characters against gold. Now Amazon is reacting and wants to punish anyone who advertises.

What measures does Amazon take? Lost Ark developers have found that the Carry services make it difficult to find groups for new and recurring players who do not insist on being paid to do older content.
As the first measure against carry services, the developers punish the advertising for those services. After a transition phase that starts on February 18, 2025, advertising for such “buses”, as they are called in the game, will be punished with a one -day spell. However, repeat offenders can be blocked for weeks or even months.
So that more experienced players help the new players even without paying, the developers donate event tokens for interaction with accounts that did not log in for at least 60 days or were only created 60 days ago. In addition, the item level 1670 must not yet be reached.
Were these services allowed before? Amazon had tolerated the “buses” in the past 3 years. However, the use and offering of such services were always associated with a certain self -risk because Amazon also removed gold bought from the accounts of the booster. If the customers of the booster providers paid them with real money, the gold bought, were punished.
Anyone who dragged many players through the dungeons could even be banned if they came into possession of too much illegal gold. The sale of such services against real money, on the other hand, was punishable from the start and can mean a permanent spell for the players.
The fact that Lost Ark does something to ensure that new and recurring players have a good time and no other players have to pay for Carry services is probably due to the fact that the Amazon MMORPG is no longer doing so well. Meinmmo editor Karsten Scholz recently found in his weekly review that only about 1.8 % of the player base is still active: 2022 an MMORPG put on Steam a historical start, only 1.8 percent of the players are left at the 3rd anniversary
