In Mali, the army and its partners of the Wagner group led a series of operations on Sunday, February 16 and Monday, February 17, in the Tilemsi valley, which extends in part to the regions of Kidal and Gao. Seven separatist rebels of the FLA (Azawad Liberation Front), considered “terrorists” by the Malian transitional authorities, were killed. According to information collected by RFI with many local sources, around thirty civilians have also died during these various operations, including women and children.
