The County Received Top Honours in the Planning and Strategy Development (Rural) Category For Its in-House Created Economic Development Strategy and an Honourable Mention in the Visitor Attraction and Tourism Product Category For Its Meet Scout Initiative.
The Awards Celebrate Innovative and Collaborative Economic Development Across Ontario efforts. A PANEL OF PROFESSIONALS from Economic Development, Marketing, Advertising and Tourism Evaluated The Entries.

Norfolk County’s 2024-2027 Economic Development Strategy Serves as a Roadmap for Sustainable Growth, Investment Attraction and Business Support in the Community.
The Meet the Scout Initiative introduced Scout, the County’s Community Ambassador. The Mascot Highlights Events, Local Attractions and Festivals Through Print, Digital, Social Media and In-Person Platforms.
Edco has more than 1,300 members and provids in platform for collaboration and innovation, Said a media release.
