May come into effect on July 1

Attorney General Gunnar Strömmer (M) says according to a press release:

“This is important because we, through these legislative changes, strengthen the protection of some of those who are most vulnerable in our society. This applies, for example, to children who have disabilities or who feel very poorly mentally and are exposed to sexual abuse. It also applies to other groups, such as Elderly when exposed to fraud.

The legislative changes are proposed to enter into force on July 1 this year.
