Old phones increase in value
When the iPhone 2G was launched in 2007, the price of around $ 599 was for the 4GB model. But since most people preferred the 8GB variant, the 4GB model was only available for a short period, making it extra sought after today. An unopened unit can be sold for millions.
It is not only old Apple mobiles that are sought after in the secondary market. Classics such as Nokia 3310 and Ericsson T28 have also increased in value. A Nokia 3310 can today be sold for around SEK 1,500, even though it was once one of the world’s best -selling phones.
