This week with a magnifying glass, a news caught our attention: the international summit on artificial intelligence organized in Paris.
Monday evening, under the vault of the Grand Palais in Paris, Emmanuel Macron is alone on stage … all around him, entrepreneurs and leaders around the world who came to attend the summit for action on artificial intelligence. After a few introductory words in French, the president continues in English. Its objective: to show that France intends to have its place in the race for AI. It multiplies the formulas to hold attention.
“We will use Notre Dame’s strategy”. The line is clear: France and Europe want to catch up. But beware, not just any way. Emmanuel Macron wants a different model from Americans and Chinese. But what values does he want to defend with this French AI. And can we really make the weight?
