US released Russian prisoner returned to Moscow Brief news

According to US President Donald Trump, the release of prisoners is a step in the right direction to resolve the Ukrainian war.

Russian Aleksander Vinnik Has returned to Moscow on Thursday as part of the change of prisoner, says Ria Novosti, a Russian state news agency, according to Reuters.

Vinnik confessed to his guilt in May 2024 for money laundering on cryptocurrency.

In exchange for Vinnik Russia this week was released by US teacher Marc Fogelin. In addition to him, Belarus was liberated by another American prisoner whose identity was not reported.
