Hollywood director Quentin Tarantino is a confessed fan of the film series about the British secret agent 007. One of them was particularly impressed by him.
Tarantino’s favorite bond unveiled
As Far Out Magazine reported in July 2023, Tarantino’s favorite bond has been no secret since a appearance of 2004 in the Tonight Show with Jay Leno: It is James Bond 007 – love greetings from Moscow from 1963, in which the secret agent of Sean Connery is played.
Tarantino’s favorite is the Second film by the James Bond series – and a classic. James Bond is commissioned to bring an important decryption machine backed by the Soviets.
The secret agent travels to Moscow, where he meets the Soviet agent Tatiana Romanova, which helps him with his mission. The malignant Dr. No and the dubious organization Specter.
Tarantino prefers to see these bond actors
Furthermore, the famous director confessed that it Sean Connery deals with his absolute favorite actor of the cult figure. But not only Connery found Tarantino’s recognition.
He also emphasized Pierce Brosnan for his performance:
Connery is the best But I really like Pierce Brosnan. I didn’t like the films in which he played what I always thought was a little tragedy because I thought he was a very legitimate bond.
He is also not entirely convinced of the new edition with Daniel Craig, who started with Casino Royale in the cinemas in 2007. He described them as great, but also made it clear that he rather considers them to be a parody of the previous films.
The general judgment of the audience with regard to the reinterpretation of the series with Daniel Craig was a bit more positive – after all, Skyfall, Specter and no time to die, followed some sequels. However, the further fate of the cult agent remains to be seen.
