Small Business Owner Vandan Patel has been a past municipal candidate and is currently the secretary of a local legion.

Peter Black, vice President of the Haldimand-Norfolk Provincial Liberal Association, Said They Struggled to find a local candidate.

“The Ford Government has made it any easier calling an unnecessary, costly snap election in the dead of winter,” said black. “It is the Ontario Liberal Party’s Policy to run a candidate in Every Riding and Have Helped Select A Candida TO ASSE THE LIBERALS OF HALDIMAND-NORFOLK.”
Black Said Patel is a “Dedicated and Committed Individual” Willing To Take up local Liberals.
“Liberal Values of Balance and Actually Serving the Needs of Our Community While Adhering to Financial Practices that acknowledge priorities and limitations can now be chosen,” Said Black.
Patel has a university degree in agriculture, which Black Said Will Benefit the Local Farming Community.
Patel will participate in the candidate debates in Caledonia at the lions hall on wednesday at 7 pm, and on Feb. 18 at the Simcoe Legion, 200 West St., at 7 pm

Patel is one of five official candidates in Haldimand-Norfolk Running in the Feb. 27 Election. The Others are independent Bobbi Ann Brady Who is Seeking Her Second Term Responsing the Riding; Amy Martin of the Pc Party, who Has Taken a Leave from Her Job As Mayor of Norfolk to Run Her Campaign; Erica Englert of the NDP; and Garry Tanchak of the New Blue Party.
