In India, calls to hatred against Muslims increased by 74% in 2024 according to the report of an American institute which listed more than 1,000 speeches targeting this minority. These attacks come mainly from the Hindu nationalist party of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who won the elections in June 2024.
