What are the new rules of the Champions League?
The Champions League lost its group stage in 2024-2025. This is transformed into a “regular season”, with a unique classification. For the first stage of this new generation champions League, each team must play 8 games (against 6 previously), each time with a different opponent. So also finished in passing the round trip system, characteristic of previous versions. The Battle of TV rights continued to rage before this season of the Champions League. UEFA has attributed the French TV rights of the “big ears” to Canal+ which thus obtained the privilege of distributing the Champions League.
