Trainer Chris de Graaf saw how powerless his team was in the opening phase. TEC had some great chances to make the 3-0, but they were not taken. De Graaf then decided to intervene. First he took Youri Koelewijn off the field and in the break he made three more changes: Lowie van Zundert, Nico Kroonenberg and Robin Eindhoven were allowed to prove themselves.
