LOL: Last One Laughing Starts season 6 this spring. The concept of the Amazon game show is that comedians: inside and stars are blocked in a room for six hours and are not allowed to laugh. On Wednesday, February 5, 2025, Amazon organized a press day in honor of LOL and announced the start of season 6 shortly before Easter. In addition to the new line-up, which this time also includes actors Jürgen Vogel and Florian David Fitz, show director Michael ‘Bully’ Herbig was also present. When it came to questioning, we absolutely wanted to know from the LOL host if he could ever imagine, even as a participant in the LOL-Ring to rise. He had a clear answer to that:
If I’m honest I can’t imagine it. The moment I press the buzzer, I think: ‘I am glad that I am on the other side!’ […] I sometimes train that at hometo see how long I [ohne zu lachen] hold out. But sometimes it is enough for me when someone looks at me! […] I can’t stand in front of the wall, because there is the next camera. […] I think that would be a short appearance.
Bully also explained that someone else should be put on the LOL buzzer. His ability to hold out for a long time without laughter compares it with a wink to those of Barbara Schöneberger who was out after five minutes in season 1. So it looks as if we will never experience Michael Herbig on Amazon’s Last One Laughing in the circle of the participants.
