GUIDE: Everything you need to know about biathlon World Cup 2025: Schedule and TV times for all races

Some of the Swedes, such as Sebastian Samuelsson, Ella Halvarsson and Elvira Öberg, have shown good form during parts of the season. Others have had a little more difficult. Mona also wants to highlight those who are not necessarily the biggest stars.
– I absolutely think that Elvira will be on the podium in individual races, and as it has looked, we also have fantastic opportunities in all relays. It is absolutely incredible what strong they are. But I also see in front of me how those who are not the fix stars, that they also have a chance in each race. So there are incredibly strong teams that will go there, she says.

Several of the Swedish practitioners have shown really fast skiing during the season so far, but on the collective front, the shooting has not maintained the same high quality. Mona Brorsson believes that it is a bit about mental obstacles.
– They have made some changes they have talked about for this year. It may be that it takes some time before everything comes into place. I believe that at team level it is very easy to say that it is too bad shooting. Then all their individual reasons have that make it much more difficult to say what to change, she says and continues:

– It is really something that everyone must be able to go to themselves and try to find a reason for. I know what it was like for my own part, I think. For me, it was a lot of “thoughts” as well. It is easy to get stuck in negative spirals and break patterns. Just that you have started to shoot badly, the only thing you want to shoot is full. The more you think about it, the harder it becomes. It can be difficult to break that pattern.

Really hope Mona Brorsson is right in what she says that Sweden can challenge for medals in every race at the World Cup. Of course, we hold our thumbs and cheer the Swedes during the championship!
