Cathy Hoffman, General Manager of Corporate Services and Chief Human Resource Officer, has 33 years of municipal service.
She Started with the City of Chatham in 1992 in the Social Services Department. Following Amalgamation In 1998, She Transitioned Into the Role of Manager of Recruitment, Training and Development.
Hoffman Became Director of Human Resources in 2003. In 2017, She Took on Her Current Position.
“It has been a true privilege to spend so mary Years Working Alongside Great Colleugues who Care Deeply About Making A Difference in our Community,” Hoffman Said in a release thursday.

Throughout Her Career, Hoffman has served on committee within the municipality and externally, in the Areas of Policy Development, Workforce Planning and Organizational Excellence.
Her Professional Achievements Included Earning the Certified Human Resources Leader Designation, A Master of Public Administration and A Municipal Law Certification.
“Cathy Has Played a Vital Role in Shaping Our Organization’s Culture, Mentoring Countless Colleagues, and Championing initiatives that Have Strengthened Our Workforce,” Chief Administrator Michael Duben Said in the release.

HOFFMAN’s retirement coincides with the Search for a deputy chief administrative Officer, and will generate opportunities for restructuring the municipality’s executive management team at no additional cost, the release Said.
