The heads of state of the EAC and the SADC have gathered, since this Saturday, February 8, in Dar Es Salam, in Tanzania. Regional organizations in East Africa and Southern Africa discuss the situation in eastern DRC. Rwandan President Paul Kagame is present. His Congolese counterpart, Félix Tshisekedi, participates in videoconference. The objective of this meeting is to draw a roadmap to get out of the crisis.
