Mona Brorsson’s words about the first time at SVT and in Winter Studio

Mona Brorsson has done half a biathlon season in the SVT studio.
She has been praised for her efforts in the TV box and she herself is more than happy with her first time.
– It feels almost too good to be true, she tells the Sports Bible.

On February 18 last year, the biathlon announced Mona Brorsson34, that she would end her career after the season. A few months later, she was completed as a new TV expert in SVT’s winter studio.

When it was clear that the former expert Helena Ekholm Would end in the winter studio after six years, many people wanted Brorsson to become her replacement. Apparently, SVT got news about the wishes of the Swedish people, because they heard from the Warmland and asked if she was interested.
– It feels like SVT almost had no choice because there were so many from the outside who pressed. So I got the question and it was pretty easy to say yes. They then said: “It is clear that we will try this,” she tells the Sports Bible.

– I was down one day and did a test broadcast together with Ola Bränholm. So we tried to comment and got to sit with Yvette Hermundstad in the studio and “play” Winter Studio. I didn’t completely do away with it because I had to come back, Mona continues.

Her first participation as an expert in the Winter Studio took place on November 16. Now it has been almost three months.
– I think it’s so fun. It feels almost too good to be true. How all the pieces fell into place so I got a small role and a chance to join. I really think it has been challenging, evolving but also opened my eyes a little bit for this “other side”. The field perspective versus the media perspective. And I absolutely get much more respect for the media and the job they do, says Mona.

Today, she understands even more that there is a value for elite athletes to have a good relationship with the press.
– I regret nothing I have done as active, but may think that you might have been able to do more with the media or thought differently about the media and how to relate to the media. Because you can really take advantage of it if you do well too.

Mona Brorsson was popular and popular already as a biathlon, so it was no bang that the Swedish people would embrace her as a TV expert. She has really been praised for her efforts in the Winter Studio.
– Sometimes it feels almost undeserved. Stop. But I have received a very nice response and so much fun that people continue to care even though they have stepped out of the limelight. It should not lie on me anymore. But it is still a lot of people who hear, and even the weekends that I am not in the winter studio are people who hear and wonder what I do and want me to be there. So I feel very privileged, she says.
