“Was about to start crying” – now the competition manager answers

Was about to start crying now the competition manager

The organizers have received great criticism from some of Sweden’s largest ski profiles. Now the competition manager answers Patrik Sylvan on the criticism.

Criticism from, among others, Johanna Hagström and Ebba Andersson

The criticism of the organizers was stiff. In an interview with Express said Johanna Hagström following:

– In the quarter, I was starting to cry because I didn’t understand how to go. It was a very special track.

Also Emil Danielsson criticized the course:

– I think we all six were down anyway with some knee on the slopes sometime during the final. It was parody. We were all like Bambi on slippery ice out there.

In an interview with News24 Answer the competition manager Patrik Sylvan The criticism.

– We made an assessment in the morning that we pistened and then the sun and temperature during the day would soften the entire layer. It would be two inches soft around the entire course, and so it would be if it was completely normal in the Borå district. Then Gustav Vasa Had a beard so it has always become soft with the conditions that were yesterday, he said, continuing::

– The content was that there was a little lower humidity and a little wind that made the cold not let go of the snow, which was extremely strange. When we entered the final pass, it was much harder than we had expected.

Patrik Sylvan tells about the risk of injury

He also gets into how they ensure the safety of the rides:

– We work very hard to ensure the safety of the riders, it is the primary in such situations.

He went on to say:

– We had close dialogue with the riders how their reactions were under both prologue and final heat. We did as much as we could, we were out with the piste machine under all the gaps we had. It was to create as safe as possible for all riders. There was no talk of blowing off any competition.

The competition manager answered Ebba Andersson’s criticism

Also Ebba Andersson Was critical, to Expressen she said the following:

– It was really, really hard to go out there. You were really out on slippery ice. The ski slides all the time. It was very challenging today – so it wasn’t the most fun skiing I’ve been to.

Patrik Sylvan answered the criticism:

– It is an outdoor sport we have with different snow conditions. Different riders may also choose different kinds of skis that can think when it is a little harder or softer substrate. Today, for example, we have soft and fine conditions.

– We have noted that it was hard in some places, emphasized Sylvan.

Finally, Sylvan clarified that the dialogue with the riders was carefully executed.

– We had a close dialogue with the riders yesterday and took in their tasks and listened with a big ear. We acted as well as we could according to their wishes, we had the safety of the fields into consideration throughout the competition.
