On the program: a new thrilling investigation for Commissioner François Flament and his sister Caroline, but also a notable change in the distribution.
Launched in 2023 on the public channel, Family flair follows the investigations of a brother-sister duo with very different methods. François Flament, commissioner in Abbeville, conducts his investigations supported by his sister Caroline, police captain freshly landed from Paris. Between old fraternal rivalry and opposite styles, their collaboration is quickly electric.
After two episodes which attracted an average of 4.2 million viewers last year, Family flair is therefore back with an intrigue that promises to be captivating again. In “Guet-Apens”, François and Caroline are called on two crime scenes. The corpse of Gilles Rouvière, a business manager, is found at the bottom of a courtyard in town. Meanwhile, a criminal fire ravages a hut perched in a wood.

This replacement, announced in May 2024 after only two episodes, would have been motivated by “agenda problems” by Sylvie Testud according to Samuel Labarthe himself. But the latter also admitted that his relationships with his game partner were not good on the set. “It is true that our relationships were not simple,” said the actor to Télé-Star, while ensuring that it was not “the main reason” for the departure of his partner.
