Free Mobile has just announced an unprecedented partnership with Mistral AI, the French company of AI. For a year, all subscribers to a package will be able to use the chatbot the cat for free in its most advanced version.

This is a pretty first in the world of telephony: Free Mobile will provide its mobile packages with an AI assistant. From Monday, February 10, all ELS subscribed to a Free Mobile package will have the right to 12 months of free access to the Pro cat, the premium version of the conversational assistant of the French group Mistral AI. This competitor of Chatgpt, Perplexity or Claude will thus land on the smartphones of millions of users.

This announcement comes in the aftermath of the Chat on iOS and Android application unveiled on Thursday, February 6. With this partnership, Free Mobile intends to put “In light the dynamism and innovation of two French companies that excel in their respective markets” As the operator specifies in a press release.

The free chat at Free: how to benefit from it?

Here’s how to benefit from the Le Chat tool on your smartphone with a free package.

  1. Go to your mobile subscriber space at the Mobile.free.fr/monCompte address.
  2. Go to the “My mobile package” section, then in “My options”.
  3. Subscribe to the Chat Pro option and create an account on Mistral AI.
  4. Download the cat app to your mobile (Android or iOS).

This partnership offers for 12 months the premium version of the Mistral AI chatbot. After this period, access will be 17.99 euros per month. Note also that this offer is open to all free packages (Free 5G package, Free Series, € 2 package) as well as new subscribers.
