Kristine Stavås Skistad always arouses strong reactions.
Now the Norwegian sprint star is being identified for the ski World Cup in Trondheim.

Everyone who follows our Swedish cross -country skiers in the tracks knows very well who the long Norwegian is. Kristine Stavås Skistad Has already been able to get a lot of Swedes during the World Cup competitions in recent years and is one that always raises strong emotions.

Our blue -yellow sprinters have dominated that part of skiing for several years now and the only real challenger from other countries is Kristine from Konnerud. Last season she was the big rival to Linn Svahn and this year is Jonna Sundling which has been tamped with the Norwegian.

Stavås Skistad is now aiming to salvage its very first championship medal at the ski World Cup 2025 in Trondheim. In Norway, the interest is great for her, much because she is so mysterious and secretive.
– I think her image is very good. She is cool and has a clear aura around her, says the TV2 expert Petter Skinstad to the Sports Bible.

But Skinstad also wants to direct a clear call to Kristine Stavås Skistad and points out what she can be better at. To help Norwegian skiing become even better and more popular.
– I think she should be very aware of her relationship with the media, partners and not least the Norwegian ski association, says the Norwegian expert.

The ski queen Therese Johaug Have previously raised the voice and asked their national team colleagues to take more responsibility for the sake of sport. There, Skistad should be able to help more, as she is usually not even with the Norwegian national team but instead trains on her own with her own coach.
– Both she and the Ski Association benefit from becoming comfortable with being seen more in the media, being part of the national team and that everyone is part of the large investment that is to drive Norwegian cross -country skiing forward in the best possible way, says Petter Skinstad to the Sports Bible.
