So can alcohol prices be after Trumps EU tariffs

US president Donald Trump Want to see elevated tariffs against the EU. He has already planned for increased tariffs against Mexico, China and Canada – but the customs against the latter were recently put on the break.

How much the customs against the EU will be raised by is currently unclear. Goods from Mexico and Canada will be taxed with 25 percent tariffs, and goods from China by 10.

When Canada was told about the increased customs customs, the two provinces answered Ontario and Québec that they would stop selling American alcohol, something that Express Be the first to report.

Stopped American alcohol after customs – how will it be in Sweden?

What is clear is that if Trump introduces customs against the EU, the entire economy will be affected when the United States is the EU’s largest export market and the second largest import market.

But how can it be with the sale of American alcohol in Sweden and in the EU?

In an interview with News24 says Teodor Almqvistpress contact at Systembolaget, that it is not Systembolaget itself that decides on which alcohol to be imported or not.

– It is not Systembolaget that imports goods to Sweden, but it is our Swedish suppliers that do so.

Like Systembolaget, Swedish suppliers read under the regulations of the EU and the government.
