Expensive loot-pets in the Diablo 4 shop currently provide discussions in the community-but some players see no problem with the offer.
The shop and the prices for the Cosmetics were already criticized before Diablo 4 was published at all:
What animals are it about? Since Season 4 there have been 4 pets in Diablo that automatically collect Mats for you – and you can adapt them with different skins. Unlike the mount, you do not change the armor, but simply choose a different loot pet. There are currently new variants in the shop for around 25 euros, which some players think is completely excessive. Others see it more relaxed because the pets are purely cosmetic and do not bring a playful advantage anyway.

“It’s not that profound”
On Reddit, Joetom86 shows a loot pet that is available for around 25 euros in the Diablo 4 shop and believes that the price for this is “complete madness.” The post has so far collected over 3,300 upvotes and numerous comments in which the users and Users discuss the topic.
What do other players say? Many users don’t seem to have a big problem with the offer. The basic tenor in the comments: “Buy it if you want it – or not.” Others do not see a big problem here – or even struck the cool pet themselves:
For some, the high price is even a welcome reason not to spend money. So Evertonblue writes: “I think it’s better when such things are so expensive – then it is easier for me not to buy anything.”
Many players also remind you that there are free pets. The first animal, a dog, is obtained directly from the quest to activate the loot-pet. There is another reward for stage 7 of the season trip in Season 7. Here, for example, Eagles_63 writes that the seasonal PET is so cool that he doesn’t want to change it anyway.
The seasonal pet is the raven Dorian, who flies after your player character and collects Mats. But not only the new raven companion is well received, but also another raven who came into play with Season 7. You can find him in the “head hunting zones”, where he rewarded you with loot in exchange against gifts.
