One to hospital after fire in apartment

A 35-year-old man was taken to hospital during the night until Friday after apartment fire in Sundbyberg. The fire is believed to have been caused by a battery of some kind.

Alarms were received at 03 o’clock and when the emergency services arrived at the site, the apartment was overturned.

“He should have suffered burns, but it is unclear if he has life -threatening injuries,” says Niklas Berglund, guard officer at the Stockholm Police.

Another person was in the home.

– It may be that the other person also needed hospital care, I cannot answer it at the moment, says Nicklas Berglund.

At four o’clock the fire was extinguished.
