The night before Wednesday, a severely injured man was found outside Norrland University Hospital in Umeå. According to the police, the man had serious injuries, caused by some attachment. The man’s condition is no longer life -threatening, but he is hospitalized.
– He was heard last night by police, he has left a version of what happened, says Marcus Danielsson and continues:
– It is not about any organized gang crime, not what we can see at the moment.
Three are suspected of crime at present
The police blocked off areas at Tomtebo and Ålidhem on Wednesday.
Six young people, both women and men, were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder on Wednesday. Now four have been released.
– Instead, another person has been suspected. The classification is attempted murder and protection of criminals, says the police chief.
– Our view is that it is an isolated event. There is no cause for concern for the public.

– We have not fully clarified the course of events, but we have a better picture. Our view is that the defendant and suspects have knowledge of each other, they have moved in the same circles. The motif picture is not fully clear. We have different theories that we are currently working on.
The police are looking for witnesses
At 20 o’clock on Wednesday, one of the girls was heard, but then she was released.
– The police wanted to talk to her and get information. She has explained that she is innocent. They try to understand what has happened and who is guilty, says Oskar Söderberg, who represents one of the suspected women.
The police wish to continue to come into contact with people who may have seen something at the Ålidhem area during the night towards Wednesday from 01.30. It is suspected that an address and property is the crime scene.
