Länsförsäkringar’s fraud warnings: “Watch out!”

On their website, they have posted a warning text that reads:

“Important message! Look out! Right now, scams are sent to customers. The e -mail seems to come from Länsförsäkringar. Do not click in the email! ”.

The reason is simply that it is discovered that fraudsters are trying to win the confidence of private individuals by using the brand’s name and pretending to be them. But in fact, they just want to get over sensitive information and, by extension, money.

Bluff emails continue to flourish: “fraudsters”

Now another company has directed a sharp warning to the Swedes. It is on the site Security College that you describe that Svensk Försäkring, the insurance companies’ industry organization, warns of continued scam emails. In a warning text on the website, the Security College reports on this.

“Fraudsters still send out scams in the Swedish Insurance’s name in an attempt to collect data, which is probably an attempt at fraud,” they write.

Furthermore, the Security College emphasizes that Svensk Försäkring is only an industry organization for the Swedish insurance companies and thus does not offer any insurance themselves. Therefore, e -mails are never sent to private individuals where the opposite is evident.
