Jean-Michel Karamself -taught entrepreneur with an eclectic course, also comes to break the codes. Born in Lebanon, he saw war from the age of 5, an experience that forges his mind and his desire to succeed. After studies of engineer, Jean-Michel Karam embarked on the entrepreneurial adventure at 29 years by creating Memscap (12.7 million euros in turnover in 2024), a company specializing in components and systems for aeronautics and telecoms.
In parallel, he was interested in cosmetics and created in 2008 the personalized Ioma care brand, sold three years later. In 2016, Jean-Michel Karam pushed the concept further by launching Ieva, a company combining beauty and technologies. Its ambition: to make Ieva the “Netflix of Beauty” with a model based on connected devices and personalized subscriptions. The group claims 40 million euros in turnover.
Julian Jacob is specialist in international licenses and toys. He too self -taught, he left school at 16 after obesity and harassment problems. He launched himself at 20 years old in commercial real estate, goes on, sells everything and flies for the United States at the age of 24. He worked there in the media and toy world before founding Wyncor in Florida in 2022, a company that designs and distributes toys without stock or inventory. Less than two years after its creation, the company already exports to 42 AA countries exceeded one billion dollars in turnover.
Julian Jacob defines himself as a “Foufou” entrepreneur who likes to take risks. He admits to prefer “someone who says’ I come from the street, I have in debt but today I am here”. A daring temperament that could make a difference in discussions with other jurors.
With these three personalities from various universes, this 5th season of Who is my partner ? Resolutely wants to renew themselves, show beautiful entrepreneurial stories and beautiful meetings … under the sign of money. Because as one of the new jurors said in Big MediaBpifrance’s website, “business Angel, is someone who decides 75% on alchemy”. It’s beautiful and above all it doesn’t eat bread.
