President Donald Trump has signed a sports order that prohibits transgender athletes from women’s teams.
US president Donald Trump has signed an implementation order in the White House to prevent transgender – born in male – athletes from competing in girls and women’s sports.
– With this implementation order, the war against female sports is over, Trump declared just before signing, and dozens of female athletes stood behind him.
The provision shall provide the federal agencies, such as the Ministry of Justice and Education, to ensure that the activities of the federal funding bodies comply with the interpretation of the Trump administration in Title IX.
The new guide has been expected to have a implementation order issued last month, which sought to define sex as a man or woman in official documents, such as passports.
The order was due to the National Girls’ and Women’s Sports Day and is part of Trump’s measures to limit transgender rights.
