Apex Legends has announced new information about the new Season 24: Takeover. One of the highlights is a new way of finding your favorite weapons in the Battle Royale instead of despairing. On MeinMMO you can find out which highlights the Season has to offer.
How do you like your favorite weapons? Apex Legends introduces the so -called arsenals in Season 24. These are gun bearings that you can visit at specified locations.
These arsenals then offer you a selection of weapons so that you can decide for yourself which you want to play. APEX ‘”Battle Royale” lead designer Eric Canavese explained: “We wanted the players to be able to use the weapons they want.” He also stated that the arsenals end the “rates” when looting and instead the players should give more selection at your loadouts.
So in the future you can simply see such an arsenal and take the weapon that you like best. And so that you don’t have to search for it for a long time, they are visible during the drop and from the dropship.

In addition to the arsenal, you can now see the POI names and information about the findable loot during the drop. This should make it easier to agree in the team.
Way with the helmets, here with the headshots
What happens to the helmets? The developers also explained that Season 24 wants to focus more on the actual fighting. In keeping with this, all weapons of the game should receive a buff. For example, almost every weapon received increased damage.
In addition, white, blue and purple helmets were completely removed from the game so that the achievement of head shots becomes more constant. Building on this, the headshot multipliers were also screwed on. We only find out more details in the Patch Notes.
Season 24 should feel really good in Season 24 in particular. Overall, however, these changes show that the Assault legends and no longer the supporters are on the trigger. That is why there will also be buffs for Ash and Ballistic.
If you want to play ranked, you have to prove your skill first
What is changing about ranked? The third big highlight of the update is the new ranked challenges. If you want to play in Apex Legends from Season 24 Ranked, you no longer only have to reach level 20 and can get started.
From now on, new players/ accounts have to prove in a number of challenges that they have the necessary skill and teamwork in order to be able to compete in the valued mode.
Possible ranked challenges are about:
Accounts, which have already played in previous Seasons ranked, no longer have to prove their skills, but are allowed to get started immediately. The change really only applies to new players and accounts.
Apex Legends has been an integral part of the shooter scene for years, but in the recent past the game also had to take criticism of the fans. In the past Season 23 we went back into the past. With “Original Royale” there was a mode that should build on the beginnings of the game in 2019: After trouble with the present, the big shooter from EA is back to the beginning
