“It is with bottomless grief that we received yesterday the message from the police that many people have been killed and several have been injured in a school shooting in Örebro,” says Kristersson in a press release.
“What must not happen has now happened. Today we flag at half a bar when all of Sweden gathers in support of the victims – and in mourning what has happened.”
The castle flags on half rod unde Wednesday
The flags will be half -rod on Wednesday from nine o’clock in the morning.
Hovet has also announced that it flags on half a bar on Wednesday. All royal castles will flag half a bar today, following a decision by the king.
The decision applies to the flags at the Royal Palace in Stockholm, Drottningholm Castle, Haga Castle, Rosersberg Castle, Ulriksdal Castle, Gripsholm Castle, Strömsholm Castle, Tullgarn Castle and Rosendal Castle.
